A QUIET PLACE – CLIENT COVID-19 GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

Prior to your appointment

Should I feel ill or have symptoms of COVID-19, I will self-isolate immediately. This may mean I need to cancel your appointment at short notice. I understand this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

If you are or any of the people in your household feel ill or display any symptoms of COVID-19 please advise me as soon as possible and DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Where possible I will email the consultation form to you to fill in prior to the appointment to reduce face-to-face time.

Although there are toilet facilities available, I would ask if you could use your own facilities before your appointment where possible.

Please only bring necessary belonging with you for your appointment.

I also ask if you can bring your own bottle of water at this time to avoid any cross contamination.

On arrival

Please feel free to park on the driveway, in the parking bays just before the house or outside my front door.

Once parked please message me to say you have arrived. I will come out and greet you as soon as I am ready for you.

I will be wearing a visor and a facemask when I greet you and throughout the treatment time.

Facemasks are now mandatory in all beauty salons. Therefore, clients should wear a facemask unless it will interfere with the treatment.

You will walk through to the seating area outside the treatment room, then into the treatment room. I will walk behind you at a 2m distance.

On entry to the treatment room, please use the hand sanitiser provided.

You will be asked to complete a COVID-19 declaration form before your treatment.

Your Treatment

Please place your shoes on the shoe rack and all of your belongings in the tray provided.

Then use the step provided to get onto the bed and make yourself comfortable. I will stand at a 1-2m distance until you are settled.

I will continue to wear a face visor and facemask throughout your treatment. (It is mandatory for me to wear a visor and a facemask.)

Due to COVID-19 procedure and guidelines, the once cosy and comfy treatment coach has now been covered with a plastic cover which can be wiped down. However, I have done my best to cover these with washable layers to provide the most comfortable experience possible.

Hand hygiene is very important and so I will wash my hands before the treatment and will use hand sanitiser throughout the treatment.

Treatment room hygiene

I can confirm that the laundering of the towels, bedding and uniform is washed at 60 degrees C.

All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between clients.

At the end of your treatment please collect your belongs and leave promptly to ensure time to clean the treatment room for the next client.  However, please inform me if you do not feel well enough to get up and drive, as your wellbeing is still my priority.

Treatment room hygiene measures

Hand sanitiser is in the treatment room.

All surfaces including door handles, belonging box, treatment couch and anything touched will be fully clean and sanitised between treatments.

Washable bed linen is changed.

There is frequent hand washing throughout.

The floor will be steam mopped between each treatment.
